Caroline Joyal
Caroline is a self taught artist who joins her love for movement, colour, texture, introspection and nature in her studio. She uses visual art as a mean to navigate her emotional states, psychological patterns and the multiple facets of her personality.
She aspire to develop a relationship with each piece, to be authentic in her process and in acceptance of the dichotomy that often resides in her creative process.
The techniques she uses differ from the space availability and the present mood. In general, a certain precision is developed amongst the chaotic gestures. The tools she uses are the spatula, brushes and sometimes sponge and syringe.
She sometimes works outside, on the floor or on the easel while changing the direction of the canvas in order to offer different perspectives.
